Organizing Your Organization: Incorporating your Start-Up
A new business can be packaged in many ways. This workshop will educate you about the differences among sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, LLCs, L3Cs and more so you can figure out the best fit for your business plan. If you have already formed an entity, this might be a refresher about how to make your choice of organization work for you. The Community Business Workshop Series is a joint collaboration of the Chicago Innovation Exchange, the Office of Business Diversity, the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship, the South East Chicago Commission, the Office of Civic Engagement, and Facilities Services. The goal of the series is to provide South Side businesses and entrepreneurs with substantive and actionable programming to grow and sustain their businesses.
