CPR CLASSES
The Mount Prospect Fire Department offers two types of American Heart Association CPR classes.
Healthcare Provider: Healthcare (BLS) provider CPR provides advanced airway techniques, specifically designed for healthcare professionals. The registration fee is $55/person.
Heartsaver: Heartsaver CPR is designed for the general public. The registration fee is $45/person.

Class size limited to 12 students
All classes will cover recognition and emergency resuscitation techniques for heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and airway obstruction in adults, children and infants. The classes also demonstrate the use of automatic external defibrillators (AED). Classes are held at Mount Prospect Fire Station 14, located at 2000 E. Kensington Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056.

**Group classes (tailored to the needs of your group) for both Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver are available upon request. Contact Aharon Losoff via e-mail to schedule group classes or for further questions on CPR classes.
CITIZEN EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS TRAINING
The Mount Prospect Fire Department annually offers a free 20-hour emergency preparedness course that will help you, your family and your neighbors in the event of a local disaster. This course is designed to give you basic knowledge when a disaster strikes. The training will provide an overview of emergency preparedness, fire suppression, basic first aid, light search and rescue and terrorism preparedness at NO COST.
