Attend Village Board Meetings
Village Board meetings are where actual policy is determined. Formal decisions are made by the Board in the form of ordinances. At this meeting, there is an opportunity for citizens to be heard - refer to the meeting agenda for details.
Village Board Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall, 50 South Emerson Street in the Village Board Room on the third floor.
Committee of the Whole Meetings
Committee of the Whole meetings are for discussion purposes. The Board takes no formal action at these meetings, but may provide feedback to staff on a specific topic of interest. At this meeting, there is an opportunity for citizens to be heard - refer to the meeting agenda for details. Committee of the Whole meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall, 50 South Emerson Street in the Village Board Room on the third floor.

Boards and Commissions
One of the more important responsibilities of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees is to nominate and confirm interested and qualified citizens to serve on the various standing and Ad Hoc Boards, Commissions and Committees that have been created to assist in accomplishing the business of local government.
