Job Description:  Do you enjoy a job that has a mix of public interaction and task-oriented work? The Circulation Department at Mount Prospect Public Library is looking for a part-time Desk Assistant with excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for detail to join its team. In this role, you will assist library users at our checkout desk and handle various workroom activities, such as checking in, sorting, and shelving material. 

Rate of Pay: $16.22/hour

Job Description:  Responsibilities: Act quickly and responsibly in the case of an emergency Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Be a pleasant and supportive companion Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop Remind clients to take prescribed medication Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
