The Law Project's Small Business Program offers legal support to entrepreneurs who are starting or have their own small businesses as a strategy to create financial independence. Since most entrepreneurs operate on a shoestring budget, obtaining legal advice is often unaffordable. This workshop will provide entrepreneurs with information about choosing the correct corporate structure for their business.

Whether you're just starting out or scaling your business, this program will help you understand funding options available to you as an entrepreneur or small business owner. Join us to learn about:

Funding sources and how to access these sources.
Requirements for obtaining funding.
Advantages and disadvantages of different funding sources.

Additionally, we will present the fundamentals of a business plan and financial projections. Business mentoring from SCORE members will be available after the event.

Three industry experts answer questions and provide tips on business finances, business planning, and marketing/social media for your business. Following the panel, hear from SCORE Mentors and the Village and Library on resources offered to businesses right here in Mount Prospect.
