Have you ever considered being a business owner? Do you have the characteristics and fundamentals to run a business? Find out if entrepreneurship is right for you. During the session complete a self-assessment questionnaire to determine if you have the personal characteristics, the financial fitness and the business readiness skills to own a business. Then score and interpret your own results.

This event is FREE and available over three dates:

Discover the many aspects of obtaining funding for existing or start-up businesses.

Whether you're just starting out or scaling your business, this program will help you understand funding options available to you as an entrepreneur or small business owner. Join us to learn about:

Funding sources and how to access these sources.
Requirements for obtaining funding.
Advantages and disadvantages of different funding sources.

Additionally, we will present the fundamentals of a business plan and financial projections. Business mentoring from SCORE members will be available after the event.

Three industry experts answer questions and provide tips on business finances, business planning, and marketing/social media for your business. Following the panel, hear from SCORE Mentors and the Village and Library on resources offered to businesses right here in Mount Prospect.
