Join us for a Business Roundtable Discussion on Tuesday, March 27 at 9:00 a.m. at 514 W. Northwest Hwy. The meeting is a continuation of the Entrepreneur's Cafe event held in January, and will be an open forum for potential, new and existing businesses in Mount Prospect.

Come and discuss with your peers what works and what doesn't, what issues you are facing as a business owner/manager, and any other related topics. We are partnering with owners and brokers of available storefronts to hold the meetings in empty retail spaces (with the hopes of filling them!)

The Village is actively seeking retailers and restaurants to locate here. In partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Merchants Association, and Mount Prospect Public Library we have formed an Incubator Program to provide support to new start-ups. Discover the many aspects of obtaining funding for existing or start-up businesses.

Whether you're just starting out or scaling your business, this program will help you understand funding options available to you as an entrepreneur or small business owner. Join us to learn about:

Funding sources and how to access these sources.
Requirements for obtaining funding.
Advantages and disadvantages of different funding sources.

Additionally, we will present the fundamentals of a business plan and financial projections. Business mentoring from SCORE members will be available after the event.

Presented in partnership with the Mount Prospect Entrepreneurs Initiative (MPEI) and SCORE.

Three industry experts answer questions and provide tips on business finances, business planning, and marketing/social media for your business. Following the panel, hear from SCORE Mentors and the Village and Library on resources offered to businesses right here in Mount Prospect.
