Join fellow restaurateurs, food service, and hospitality business owners for an open discussion on the challenges and successes of operating during COVID-19. This virtual meet up will be hosted by industry veterans Cheri Kretsinger and Kevin McVearry of Harper’s Illinois SBDC. Participants are encouraged to share their struggles (and wins) and receive support, insights, and advice from fellow business owners. This group will meet two times per month.

Whether you're just starting out or scaling your business, this program will help you understand funding options available to you as an entrepreneur or small business owner. Join us to learn about:

Funding sources and how to access these sources.
Requirements for obtaining funding.
Advantages and disadvantages of different funding sources.

Additionally, we will present the fundamentals of a business plan and financial projections. Business mentoring from SCORE members will be available after the event.

Three industry experts answer questions and provide tips on business finances, business planning, and marketing/social media for your business. Following the panel, hear from SCORE Mentors and the Village and Library on resources offered to businesses right here in Mount Prospect.
