This workshop is presented by Shawn Smith who has created 4 successful Kickstarter projects and is deeply involved with the Chicago Kickstarter creator community.

Advantages and disadvantages of different funding sources.

Additionally, we will present the fundamentals of a business plan and financial projections. Business mentoring from SCORE members will be available after the event.

Three industry experts answer questions and provide tips on business finances, business planning, and marketing/social media for your business. Following the panel, hear from SCORE Mentors and the Village and Library on resources offered to businesses right here in Mount Prospect.
