The Village of Mount Prospect is pleased to provide our community with a fast and secure means of renewing Elevator and Residential Alarm Licenses.
- Elevator Licenses are valid for one year spanning from June 1 through May 31. An annual renewal notice and invoice will be mailed to the property owner in April each year.
- Residential Alarm Licenses are valid for one year spanning from January 1 through December 31. An annual renewal notice and invoice will be mailed to the property owner in November each year.
Please use the Online Payment Portal to renew your license and submit payment using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards.
Renewal may also be mailed back to the Village with a check in an envelope addressed to Community Development, 50 S. Emerson St., Mount Prospect, IL 60056; or hand delivered to the Community Development Department with cash, check, or credit payment.
Any ownership information, phone numbers, emergency contacts, or other information that has changed throughout the year can be updated through the online renewal process.
**New Residential Alarm Licenses - Please complete the Application for Residential Alarm License and mail it in with a check or visit the Community Development Department to process the application.
Online Payment Help
Each mailed renewal form will have a unique username and password listed on the form. This information is required for the initial payment portal login process. Once the provided username and password are entered into the portal, the user will be prompted to create a new private username and password for security purposes.
