The Board of Trustees has approved funds to provide 2016 Mount Prospect real estate tax relief for qualifying owners of single-family residences. This opportunity is available to households having a gross annual income equal to or less than $23,540 for 1 person or $31,860 for 2 or more persons. The rebate is equal to 50 percent of the Village’s portion of the total 2015 Cook County real estate tax bill, up to a maximum of $100.00. Please apply after you have paid the 2nd installment of your 2015 tax bill.

Assistance in completing the application will be available at Village Hall, 50 S. Emerson Street, in the Finance Department (1st Floor) on Wednesday, October 26th from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., and Thursday, November 3rd from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Information will be mailed out in October to those who have participated in the program.
