The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report document presents management's report concerning the finances of the Village of Mount Prospect. The document is prepared in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and has been audited by a firm of licensed public accountants. The three sections of the document include the introductory message with listing of principal officials and organization structure, the financial section which includes the independent auditors report and management's discussion and analysis, and the statistical section with continuing disclosure materials.
The Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) presents the Village's financial information in an understandable and easy-to-read format. It is intended to provide an overview of the Village's financial position to residents and business leaders who do not have a background in public finance.
