Reliance Standard
The Village of Mount Prospect offers Voluntary Short Term Disability Insurance through Reliance Standard to all benefit eligible employees.
The Voluntary Short Term Disability benefit will provide a weekly benefit amount equal to 60% of covered earnings to a maximum benefit of $1,250 per week. Disability benefits begin on the 1st consecutive day of an injury (accident) and on the 8th consecutive day for sickness (illness).
The waiting periods, benefit maximums, benefit duration, and guaranteed issue provisions of the coverage are all advantageous to your income protection.
