The Villlage Board approved plans for the redevelopment of the Randhurst
Mall at their August 19th board meeting. Casto Lifestyle Properties will
transform the mall portion of the property into the Randhurst Village
lifestyle center that will include numerous restaurants, shops, a new movie
theater, 40,000 square feet of office, a 150-room hotel and 200 rental
housing units. The Mall is scheduled to close in early October and
demolition work will begin immediately on the mall structure. Casto
anticipates that Randhurst Village will open to the public in the summer of
2010. All remaining stores (Costco, Carsons, Bed Bath and Beyond) and
existing outlots will remain open during the construction process.
